My mom is prepping for her birthday party tomorrow. She's being very bossy about me moving my laptop off the table. "It's a laptop," you say, "It's easy to move." No no no no. I've got all my speakers hooked up, and the power cord, and the mouse, and my ipod, and my camera cord...bleh. Okay, so there are worse things in life than moving the computer, I AM AWARE.
Have you ever had someone ask how you're doing, and you know they're only doing it to be nice and conversational and hear "Good, how are you?" and not to actually know how you are? Well, sometimes I just feel like going, "Actually, life is confusing me at the moment. I have problems..." and then launching into a lengthy description of everything that's ever bothered me over the past few weeks, just to see how they react. Maybe when I'm an old lady and can get away with things like that. Or when I'm at a club and want to scare away annoying old men who are trying to buy me drinks.
If you're still reading this, I want to hand you a piece of banana split cake that is currently in my kitchen (that I can't eat until after the party, of course).
