Player info meme!
Me: laserdragon is the home journal. There are bits of the internet that I go by Laser, but the name never seems to have caught on at camp. Real name is Olivia, and there are still people who call me Lady. Any of those or any of my characters (Save "Boss") are fine as for what to call me.
I play: Yuffie (oh_grossness), Lal Mirch (truly_epic_lalz), The Boss/The Joy (cqcingly) and Emma Emmerich (vampfuckudie)
I used to play: A shamefully high number of characters, which can be found hnyah.
Getting in Touch: I try to be in IRC (under Yuffie, usually) when I am playing, but I forget about it a lot. If I am playing I can always, always be reached at varioushotcrazychicks@gmail.com feel free to add me to chat. o/ If I am at work, I'll prrrrrrobably be on cfudlady@gmail.com. I am rarely if ever on any other chat programs.
Timezone/Language: I am on US Pacific time. English is the only language I speak enough of to be any help with, though I can cobble together the odd statement about testicles in Japanese and/or Spanish.
Scheduling Issues: I am at work most days 10ish - 7ish or 5ish on weekends. I can generally be reached to talk but never to thread. Monday is the only day I always have off. I am always on call and rarely know my schedule more than a week in advance, and sometimes not til the day of. SO IF YOU WANT ME TO BE ABLE TO DO SOMETHING FOR SURE, Monday is the day to shoot for.
The Playing Experience: WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? I HAVE NO IDEA.
UUUUUUUUUUUH I am in CFUD to have fun, primarily. I love it when srs bz happens, in fact, I enjoy the fighting and the srs bz most of all, but I tend to be better at the crack. SO BASICALLY I AM DOWN FOR EITHER.
Jumping: Please please please please always jump me. Nothing makes me more warm and tingly than a jump. I'm like ":D :D :D SOMEONE'S PAYING ATTENTION TO ME :D :D :D :D"
Threading: I usually take 3-10 minutes for a reply, depending on how hard a thread is for me. If it's an MGS character, it'll probably be closer to the 10 minute mark or longer, for a character like Yuffie, I avoid thinking about my replies as much as possible. I am really, really terrible about thread dropping. Even threads I am enjoying! In fact, I am if anything more likely to drop a thread I am enjoying if I'm having a whole bunch of threads because I feel guilty for paying more attention to the thread I like and am afraid people will see me paying too much attention to it and think I don't like them and and and YEAH. Anyway, once I drop, I am also really bad about picking up. So please, please, please never feel like you are bothering me with a poke to pick up. IF IT'S BEEN 15 MINUTES, A POKE IS IN ORDER. Again, I will be pathetically gleeful that someone is paying attention to me. DON'T BE SHY I'M NOT COOL AT ALL. 8(
Betaing: I ALWAYS AGREE TO BETA THINGS and them am generally a crappy beta. If I have agreed to in the beta post, or if it's a character I like, or if you need a non-canon beta to be like "THIS CANON SECTION CONFUSES ME 8(" then I might be able to help. As for voice or humor or conventions or anything helpful at all? I might not be your best choice. I'M ALWAYS WILLING TO TRY THOUGH.
AUs: BASICALLY ANY TIME ANY WHERE ANY NON-SQUICK PAIRING. I love AUing. I love AUing shit with no canon or camp basis whatsoever. If you think it is a good idea, ask me and I will probably go for it. Unless the pairing squicks.
Comfort Levels: PRETTY MUCH DOWN WITH EVERYTHING. Like I said, down with the crack, down with the 4th-wall-breaking, down with the hilarious character death, down with the traumatic and/or heartbreaking shit WHATEVER. I have a short attention span and thus enjoy it when stuff happens. OOC communication is awesome, of course, but I am v. v. flexible.
Concrit: ALWAYS ENJOY IT. I comment to concrit every week, I take anonymous and nonymous crit. I don't have a screened crit post anywhere OUT OF MY OWN FAIL as I would probably not notice comments there or forget to respond to crap or unscreen what you may rather kept screened. HOWEVER! Emailing me crit with a real or sock puppet email account is always fine. The only way I won't take crit is over any sort of chat program, as I'd rather be able to see and think about what's being said without feeling the need to respond right away. UNLESS LIKE WE ARE EMAILING or commenting and it makes more sense to bring it back to a chat because we are having conversation or something I DON'T KNOW CRIT ME HOWEVER YOUR HEART TELLS YOU TO.
