Report from Real Life -again-
People from my beloved f-list: here I am again, bearing apologies for my absence, and feeling guilty for not being able to participate more in my friends' LJs. I'm deeply sorry. Although I don't know whether my lack of time will get better or only worsen as of now. All in all, at least I have good stuff to tell. No more emo posts XD
Wow, it feels like forever!
Hm, first thing to tell is that I've given up on moving away from the place I live to another. My first try didn't work out and I don't think another one would anyways. So I decided to endure it a little more *or for the rest of my life, seriously XP* and stay where I am. At least there the rent is cheap and I can make better use of my money =D
Speaking of which, this month I didn't have any problem getting the money from my boss ^^ He remembered to give it to me by himself! O.o And I was just so thankful, because I had the first monthly fee of the university to pay, and some other stuff... my bank account says thank you very much! It's the first time this year I'm not broke by the end of the month and owing the bank XP And that's really awesome, because it makes me able to buy some stuff I really wanted to... like the two DBSK photobooks from the "A Week Holiday"!!! One of them, the "Camping" one, was already shipped out by YA last week and might be arriving here next week. The other one I had to purchase on HMV because it's out of print on YA, and I also ordered some AAA stuff for Julius which will only be released by the end of August. Julius also bought me the "T Concert" dvd as my birthday present!!! I didn't have the slightest idea he would, and he only told me because I mentioned to him that I've watched the TV broadcast version of the concert.... hahaha XD Fortunately, there's much more in the dvd that wasn't showed on this broadcast. All this buying spree was only possible because my friend from work lent me his credit card ^^ And he said I can use it whenever I want, as long as I pay him XDD Which I will always do, of course, so my problems with having an available international credit card to use have finally ended! I'm so happy! ^_____^
On other happy news, I'm officially continuing to post my fanfic "Rescuing Us", which's being very well commented on Winglin and very repercussive! It's a bit sad I don't get many comments on LJ though, but I'm not really worried, just happy that I'm finally getting my lazy bum to work on it again! I should post it here in my own LJ instead of only posting at detox though. And I might really do it because I think some in my flist missed my last update. Keep an eye for it! ^^
Yesterday was my first day at uni!verse * a ficwriter slang for university XD* and it went pretty well, despite me having arrived home at all hours of the night. 12:40am. This is gonna be really tiring, but I'm resolute on enduring the difficulties, because the reward seems just so promising. The teacher who gave us our class yesterday is a very good and renowned translator! And she told us many things about the 3 years we're gonna spend on this course, all of them got me so excited! But lol as weird as it may sound, I can only think of writing excellent fanfics in English when this course ends.... *___* That's pretty much why I started this Translator course. I want to improve my English to an academic level, so that my fanfics will be as good in English as they are in Portuguese ^____^ lol I'm crazy, I know XDD
So, that's it... for now, at least. Today, as soon as my work time's over, I'll be heading to the bus station to go to Julius' place ^^ I'm missing him so much, and we have some stuff to watch together, such as Full House, the SuJu movie and re-watching EHB now that he actually knows who's who on SuJu XDD ^___^ I'm excited! Don't know if only one weekend will be enough, and it's most probably not. But it'll be worth the go anyways!!
