I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but college isn't the real world. In college you do activities like demonstrations and tabling to be an advocate. However, in the real world you are an advocate by educating your co-workers on racism and homosexuality when they make an offensive comment. This is much more difficult.

In college you work jobs that mostly involve sitting around at desk. And the more difficult jobs you arrive late and eventually stop arriving at all without too much care. However, in the real world you go to work ill because you feel as though you can't miss it.

And in college you work your ass off studying and writing, which involves intense thought. However, in the real world you barely use a single brain cell to complete a job, which is only physically demanding.
