I'm just really worried that it won't be Torchwood anymore, whatever happens in the end. It's as though everything that makes it so good is just being taken away, one piece at a time!
I'm not normally one for resets or even particularly happy endings, but I just don't see how the show will be the same anymore, so I'm firmly in the please-give-us-a-reset camp!
And you're not the only one who's a crying mess! It's just about to be shown on TV in Aus, and I don't think I can even watch it! Which is really sad, because the whole episode was just amazing, but I don't think I can bring myself to even see Ianto onscreen anymore without bawling! And on top of that, I found all the government discussions really distressing, for some reason.
But I totally know what you mean - it's ridiculous! He's fictional! But I kind of can't see the show ever being the same without him!
I really hope episode 5 isn't this traumatic, though I kind of suspect it will be. This five-episodes-in-a-week format is brutal. Maybe I should give the re-watch a miss
( ... )
I understand what you're saying. If they do (i'm hoping it does happen) make a series 4 of Torchwood, how will it be without Ianto in it? Killing off Owen and Tosh was already a big leap. Now, Ianto. Are the writers sure that they can maintain the number of viewers without Ianto?
Please, I'll enroll in the please-give-us-a-reset camp..Happy-endings are overrated but for once, i really want Torchwood to end on a happy note before they leave us dangling for god knows how long.
The episode was amazing, I just wish Ianto was immortal like Jack. And Jack didnt even say 'I love you' back to Ianto. That was just heart-breaking.
Episode 5 will be the death of us all. I'm on the edge right now, not knowing what's coming.
The politics in the show is quite distressing. It makes me sick to think that the politicians currently could be doing the same thing.
I really shouldn't have pressed the play button when the download for the episode was done.

I love this episode..
But I really hate it as well..
In any possible way, i really want Ianto back.
It's just not the same without the not-so-subtle 'sexual harassments'!
I can't believe i'm a crying mess right now because of a fictional character.
