(no subject)
So, it has been brought to my attention that I haven't posted anything in, like, ages. Gah. I suck. I always totally intend to post, but after reading the flist and all those other sites that you check every day, I kind of never have anything interesting to say. And, as the collective unconscious mother figure always said, if you don't have anything interesting to say, don't say anything at all.
But yeah. Whatever. I thought I'd post now, though, lest anybody get the idea that I'm doing something interesting with my time. Because, well, no. Not really.
Been working only a couple of days a week, nominally looking for work (and trying not to feel too disheartened), and occasionally even seeing people and doing crazy things like writing (gasp!).
Caught up with people tonight for dainai's birthday gathering, which was nice. Much with the chatting, gossip and geekery. And I'm finding that I'm ridiculously jealous of certain people's upcoming European holiday, so maybe I'll have to get around to travelling again soon.
But for now, I'll be going to Adelaide on the 23rd with chilung and onegiantrabbit for the Fringe Festival. Should be fun to do the roadtrip thing and get out of Melbourne for a bit, though.
