BOOK REVIEW
NOBODY DOES IT BETTER - CECILY VON ZIEGESAR

BOOK RATING : 5/5!

Like I've said many times before, I really do enjoy drama! And honestly, nobody does it better than gossip girl! Again, Blair and Nate have broken up because Nate is too dumb and stoned to do anything right! Seriously, he thinks that sailing off in his family's yacht with a bunch of other stoners is better than hanging out with his girlfriend in her newly aqquired suite? What a jerk!

Jenny, of course, is starting to act like an extreme wanna-be. I mean she was already a wanna-be but now it's gone to an entirely new and annoying level. I'm starting to not even like her character anymore. All she wants to do is mimic everything Serena has done or what she thinks she's done and be just as popular as her even if she has to be a rebel in order to do it. Now she's hanging out with twenty-five year old rock stars in their suite while she's only fifteen years old! Anyone care to say jail-bait?

I'm actually intrigued that Blair and Vanessa are now living together. It seems perfect cause they are polar opposites and it's not like they'd really be competing for anything or getting on each other's nerves. Some would think you can't live with your opposite but I think it's like the whole yin-yang theory. Even though men and women are different it doesn't mean they can't work together? I know Blair and Vanessa are both girls but they're so opposite it's almost like they could be different genders.

I kind of didn't know what to think about Dan in this book. He seemed to finally understand he had no rockstar talent and was in way over his head but he still did kind of bug me with how he just let Jenny be in a house with three older guys. I know he was angry with her but he should have been the big brother and kicked her out and beat the crap out of the others for even trying to seduce a fifteen year old. Stop thinking of yoruself dude, think of the future of you little sister for once!

I am so very happy that Blair got accepted into Yale, not so much that when she went to tell Serena she found her and Nate making out practically naked instead. Harsh world. Honestly, her and Serena were as thick as thieves in this book. Then, Serena had to go and ruin it by making out with her best friend's on and off again boyfriend. That's Serena though, always getting herself into trouble without even realizing it.

Aaron and Vanessa potentially being together kind of scares me in a way. I mean, they're not a bad couple or anything it's just that I'm a sucker for Dan and Vanessa. It is really disappointing for me that they haven't made up yet. Maybe he'll finally start acting normal again and she'll fall in love with him all over.

I am definitely looking forward to the next book and how everything turns out. It's really rather disappointing for me as a Blair and Serena lover that they're having yet another fight. I really think if they just sat down and talked it out without assuming anything about the other that maybe they'd actually come to an understanding, but no they have to fight as usual. I really hope they work it out though, so fingers crossed that they make up but that more drama ensues elsewhere! I mean, with Jenny acting like a basket-case, how can there not be drama!?
