A year later
It was a year ago now that I decided to end my four month stint as a volunteer in New Orleans by getting a job and moving into an apartment. In that year, I have found love, lost it, become homeless, then find an amazing housing situation, moved out of that place when it went sour, and I feel as if I have lived a lifetime. For as much as I tried to help the residents of this city, I feel like I have receieved that back times ten in what it has done for me.
