(no subject)
Yesterday, I went to the pet shop with my sister, and completely fell in love with an African Diamond-Shell turtle...it was dear fifty dollars, but the most gorgeous little creature I have ever seen. I could have sworn it was smiling at me. He looked a little bit like this...but I can't find a good picture. His face was definately rounder, he had a pointy nose, and his eyes were huge and yellow. And he had claws! I'm still heartbroken over the fact that I couldn't bring him home, but I did buy a pretty betta fish. I named her Blue, because it's been my nickname for a long time, and she's blue and purple and magenta and white and really pretty.
Blue ate her food today, which makes me rather happy. I was getting worried when she didn't eat last night. I even videotapped her first feeding.
I still really want that turtle...so bad. Birthday gift?
Anyway. It was nice leaving school early, and that's all thanks to miss lovely KATIE MATHIS. I hope you're feeling better Kate-ster...
