Life is good.
Tonight, for the first time in years, I spent time with my Grandpa. It was absolutely incredible. He smiled so big when he saw me at his door with dinner in tow. We sat down and talked for a long time. He told me that he regrets that he doesn't know the person I am anymore, and that he really wants to. We made plans for my brother & I to go to a Tiger's game when the saeson starts. I'm so excited. I will be taking dinner to him more often, that's for sure.
Did anyone else see the lunar eclipse tonight? I stood out in the freezing cold with my family and watched the moon change from a sliver to near nothing. Usually when that happens it's too cloudy to see. Tonight, however, there wasn't a cloud in the sky and you could see Jupiter (I think?) right next to it.
Tomorrow night I get to spend more than 20 minutes with Danny for the first time since Saturday. It's so rare that we both get the same night off. The two days I get to see him will be the highlight of my week.
