It has been quite some time since I've even considered updating livejournal. I am a horrible friend! ahah
Life, lately, has been kind of terrible. Things are looking up, however. I had a brief relationship with a travelin kid that ended because he was not emotionally ready for a relationship. That was quite difficult. I had quite a few nights crying on a friend's shoulder. Multiple friends' shoulders, in fact.
I plan to go back to school, for the Deaf interpreter program. I am quite excited - it is about time I took some steps to better myself as a person. A fuller life will be much appreciated!
I really don't even know where to begin on telling about the past several months.
I quit my job at the cigar store in, oh, mid-to-late July? I'm working full-ish time at the Japanese restaurant, both as a hostess and as a waitress. It gets tiring, but I like my job and coworkers for the most part. The waitresses and hostesses are all white, save one, and the rest of the staff is a Chinese family. Mom and dad, aunt, two brothers and a sister, all working in one restaurant.
My relationship with that travelin kid? I had very strong feelings for this boy, but, unfortunately, feelings are not enough to make a relationship work. He unknowingly broke my heart, I think, and it was indescribable.
I've been feeling nostalgic lately - thinking on old friends and things of that nature. I found a letter written to me by an old friend and stopped what I was doing to read it and it made me think of high school and early college and how things are different now.
Happy new year, I guess! This year I am going back to school and I will try my best to bike to school every time I have classes! I am excited to get back in shape as well; I just need a new tire for my bike and it will be all set!
