Hi everyone! So today I got my SYH charity T-shirt in the mail, and as I tried it on, I remembered this tweet by G back in May (as translated by the lovely amaiakuyume):
[I bought your SYH t-shirt at a women's club. I was happy to see everyone wearing them. Thank you.]@.yoyogugu Thank you. We'll soon have sold 7500. If I go out to have fun somewhere and I see people gathered wearing them, I'm sure to cry… "People haven't been cast aside". Recently, I've become quick to tear up…perhaps.
Now I know many of you will wear the shirts to his upcoming YFC lives, *jealously glances across LJ*, which I think he would really appreciate :), but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in collecting together images or video of SYH supporters (us!) wearing the shirts to produce one bigger video of support for SYH? (For subsequent posting to YouTube and sending on to G)
My source of inspiration is the facebook project/youtube video produced by fans of Ayumi Hamasaki called "
Under the same sky".
The initial potential ideas I have are:
♥ Clips of supporters saying the phrase "SHOW YOUR HE♥RT, GIVE YOUR L♥VE"
♥ Images of supporters making ♥ shapes with hands, wearing SYH shirts
♥ Photo backdrop of a particular scenic area of your town/city to highlight the international support (similar idea to the Under the same sky project)
♥ BGM set to instrumental version/cover of one of G's songs (of course)
♥ Potentially tying this idea into
amaiakuyume's idea for internet fundraising by providing a download link of the video or some sort of related media which could help raise funds for SYH/related charity
Before I field the idea further I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts/ideas which could improve the potential project's feasibility.
I would feel bad excluding people who weren't able to purchase one, but *pointing to above twitter quote* most of my idea is based on the shirts. In addition I know not everyone who bought a shirt would necessarily be a G fan, therefore getting the word out to people who do have the shirts could prove difficult. Also, this sort of video would have the most impact and be the most effective if a larger number of images/clips could be gathered (for example Under the same sky had ~120 images), but I'm not sure if it would be possible/realistic to find enough supporters who would send in media.
Any suggestions, comments, feedback or outbursts would be greatly appreciated :).
