Ok, today was a very eventful day. This is going to be a long one.
Ok, the day started with a good and loud fight between dad and I [always the best way to start the day, right?]. I don't even remember what the fight was about, but I'm sure it was some stupid, trivial thing.
About an hour after breakfast, we packed up the beach gear and headed over to Alan William's [creepy Alan] house to pick up him and one of his friends. We drove to the beach that is by sea life park, for an afternoon of bodyboarding. The waves were about 4-5 ft, and that was too high for me, so I explored the reef nearby, and found my own little wave pool. I had my mask with me, so I decided to do a bit of exploring underwater, and I got close enough to a school of fish that they were nibbling on my mask! It was sooo cool.
Ok, once we had packed up the stuff, dad decided to take us up to an old hang-gliding sopt that is a good few hundred feet above the ocean. It was the most beautifl thing I may have ever seen on this island. [Here comes the fun part of the story]
On the way back down the mountainside, we were approaching a gate that we passed through to get to the site, and it was locked! There was no way to get the car out, and we were all stuck there. We tried calling the cops to see if they had a key, we called the fire department, we called everyone we could think of, but no one was able to help us. Well, during this time, I had gotten out of the car to inspect the lock on the gate closer than dad had, and I thought it looked funny, like it wasent really locked, but when I told dad about this, he procceded to tell me just how wrong I was. [Typical, I know] Anyway, after sitting in the car listening to Alan and his friend trying to come up with ideas, and dad shooting them down, I got back out of the car to look at the gate again. I lifted both of the metal posts that hold the gate in the ground and pushed forward, and Voila! The gate swung open. I returned to the car, with the sound of laughter comming from every seat, with a smile on my face. We had wasted a whole hour sitting behind an unlocked gate. Dad was really, _really_ embareassed.
Well, we drove off after that to some rock that I forget the name of, but we had to go through some residential area to get there, and to get to the rock itself, you had to climb through a steep alleyway, but once you got out of there, it was goregous [pictures to be up soon]. Anyway, we snapped a bunch of pictures and left.
Later, dad took me to the Cheesecake Factory [with 34 kinds of cheese cake 0_0 yummmmmm......] It was an hour and a half wait, but it was well worth it. We took the time to wander around Waikiki and windowshop [I got a few things for myself and others] Dinner was delicious, and thats being undescriptive. [Yes, it's that good]
On the walk back to the car we passed a few "ladies of the evening," and I heard one of the funniest things in my life. Some woman was soliciting a guy who obviously did not want her, so he said "I'd rather go to a gay bar!" she got really bitchey after that. It was really funny.
Anyway, after that we came home, and after I finish typing this, I'm going to bed.
It's been a long day.
