Forgive me. I broke my promise to show you how happy we’ve could have been together. I’m sorry.
‘Aoi...I’
It wasn’t supposed to be this way. We were meant for each other. And I ended up taking your life. I’m so selfish and greedy. I took your last rays of sunlight.
You were the enemy. My duty was to eliminate you. And I was stupid enough to do it.
‘Aoi, wh-why?’
All those days that we spent together were wasted. Your smiles, your laughter your love.
God. Forgive me.
Your limp body in my arms, crimson blood trickling down the corner of your mouth, I lean down and kiss you for the last time.
Your lips are colder than the snow around us. Ice cold, just like my heart.
The look of sheer terror in your eyes will haunt. And the shattering sound of your innocent heart will ring in my ears until my last breath.
You reach out and brush away my tears. You smile. You fucking smile.
‘Don’t cry Aoi, I will love you no matter what you’ve done’
I break. You break me. Everything ripples and crashes around me as my tears spill freely. You hush me quietly.
‘Uruha...no...What have I done?’
I clutch you closer to my body. A large gush of blood escapes your mouth as your eyes roll back and you cough loudly. I’m scared, you’re scared. We both so pathetically scared.
‘Aoi, come with me’
You plead, eyes opening and closing while you’re fighting with death. I want to go with you, but can I do it? I reach for the gun in my pocket.
The cursed killing instrument.
You put your hand on mine. So cold.
I give the gun to you.
‘Kill me, Uruha’
You stare at me. The look in your eyes confused and mixed with something else.
You lift your hand up, gun tightly secure in your hand, pointing to my head.
In the back round I hear faint sirens. They figured it out so soon. Now they’re coming to save you.
Your finger touches the trigger. I start to panic. Something is wrong here. The look in your eyes. You don’t look like the angel that I’m used to see. You glare at me with pure venom.
I smirk. I lost the game, haven’t I?
I take a deep breath and put my hand over yours.
‘Do it, my love’
Your smile twists into an evil smirk.
‘Goodbye Aoi, I’ll see you in hell, my love’
Tears slip from your eyes.
As you pull the trigger i hear my own heart shatter.
‘I love you’
