Birthday Bliss and Assorted Other Things

Hey folks, how's everything? Good? Well, that's good. It's my birthday today, and the only thing that makes that remarkable is that I'm back to an even age, 20. I HATE odd numbers for some reason, so I suppose that's good. Additionally, the teenage years are officially over. In fact, I really am glad that they're over. They were horrible. In fact, if i had three words to sum up my feelings on the matter they would be as follows: Good fucking riddance.

Now, aside from the comment Mel will undoubtedly leave relating her disappointment that I felt the need to curse; I doubt I'll get many comments on this post. Not many people seem to read it, and if they do read it then they don't feel the need to comment. But the last 7 years have been a veritable clusterfuck. Things started going bad shortly after I turned 13 and remained as such until about 6 months ago. I'll spare everyone the long, elaborate emotional jungle that this post could very well become because it's not really important and nostalgia isn't one of my strong suits.

Anyway, girls still confuse me. They'll always confuse me. Of course, though, it's my own fault. When one of them confuses me I pretend that I understand. This is because I should understand, and I desperately want to understand but it doesn't look very promising that I ever will. If homosexuality didn't hurt so much and if it weren't sexually repulsive personally, it might look somewhat appealing at this point.

At any rate, Jen and I have become closer friends as of late. As I've noted, she really is more manly than most of my friends. She likes fishing, hunting, guns, and going to the racetrack. I'm glad to have her around as Jordan seems to have vanished and no longer talks to me (despite earlier room mate rumblings) Anyway, it appears that this winter I'm going to lose as much weight as possible and come next year Jen and I are going to try to go in on a pure street racecar together. I've always wanted to own my own car and race that way, not having to worry about an owner. It could work out as we could split driving duties; I would drive at Rockcastle Speedway on friday nights and she would race at Corbin on saturdays. Things look promising.

However, if this happens; one of us has to get a truck to haul said racecar with. As I'm looking for a new vehicle soon, the focus has shifted to searching for a full size truck. I've found a '97 Ram with a V-8 and tow package; so that looks good too.

I'm so incredibly bored....someone take me away from here.
