Gah!
I just finished drawing two more strips. The second one being rather difficult for me. I seriously have to start drawing real people again!
And just as I put strip 48 onto the scanner and turned on the computer that it's connected to, I heard some wheezing clunking noises. :( From what I can tell, the fan on my husband's computer is dead or nearly and I have no wish to risk melting his motherboard. It is an old computer. One that he built himself and if I remember correctly the fan and power supply came from this computer's predecessor...a 486 from 1993. So it should be expected that it might die. Ack! I've got things on that hard drive.
Anyway, having the scanner hooked up to my laptop should be possible. However, since my husband has all the wires organized neatly and tied up and taped up to keep them out of the way, I think it would be better to leave it up to him in the morning. I could do it, but he'll be unhappy enough with having to deal with the fan, so it's better if I leave things the way he has them so he knows what's where in the morning. Plus, I certainly don't want to move his computer desk to get back there. ;)
Well, off to tape a sign to his monitor in case I'm asleep when he comes home...
