Faster than a speeding bullet...if bullets ran on RAM

Very good things today. I added 512 MB of RAM, for a total of 760! Now my computer is flying. 256 may be ok for the average user who is only interested in using their computer for the Internet and the ocassional Word document, but it lags a little for graphics work. Not only does Photoshop do things instantly, my mouse moves more precisely when doing some touch-ups. The good part is that I got this RAM on eBay, which saved me almost $200! If you need RAM for a laptop I highly recommend ebay user ezsell_auctions. Unfortunately, laptop users have to accept paying triple for half the power of a desktop. If I didn't need my laptop to haul around when meeting clients, I would have a desktop with one of those flat screen monitors. It's sad when an "obsolete" $800 desktop is still more powerful than the $2000 laptop sold at the same time. Plus the desktop can be upgraded easier for less money. Of course at the price I got my laptop, it is probably more like the $300 desktop. :P

All of this tech-talk though is really an excuse to introduce the newest strip! Back to basics. You'll have to excuse the last story arc. They are labyrinthine fish after all... This joke is based on something mentioned awhile ago. I file away almost every instance of someone saying, "This should be in the fish comic!" It's just a matter of coming up with the right context for the joke. :)
