Just a little over a week ago, I was in a wonderful corner of the world I previously knew nothing about- Baja California.
At just over 4 hours from LA, the drive is shorter than Birmingham to Gulf Shores,
and since it's in Mexico, and it hasn't become a total tourism spot yet, the prices were great!
The beaches weren't quite up to Emerald Coast standards, but it was still beautiful:

Speaking of cats, the newest addition to my kitty family has arrived, and is fitting in like Flynn:
Ashe on her first day away from home
She and Willis became instant friends,
and they entertain each other very well... it's like they don't need me anymore!
She's definitely got a bunch of "kitten energy,"
and it's been really cute watching her pass the time in kitten-y ways.
