Here's some news that's not high on the surprise factor:
I fucking love Year Zero!
I was a little bewildered at first,
but after many, many listens,
I'm surely in love.
Very noisy and experimental, yet with undeniably poppy fragments.
There is a marked decline in instruments which can be clearly identified,
And it certainly hasn't gone unnoticed that the album story is a lot more external this time.
I can't stop listening to Vessel, The Warning, Capital G, The Great Destroyer, and Zero Sum.
The last two sound absolutely nothing like I expected...
Zero Sum has almost nothing in common with Trent's signature album closers, but it's fucking BRILLIANT!
Listen to YZ on Nitrous... it's AMAZING! Trust me ;-)
