Nomadic post-world drum trio Sikhara have drawn a pattern of tire tracks across four continents. As the founders of the international Radon collective, Sikhara have contributed mightily to the noise and experimental music scenes; inclusive of several stays in Portland during the flowering of our own freak scene. Along the way they've collaborated and co-conspired with Acid Mother's Temple, Z'EV, Damo Suzuki's Network, Steve MacKay, KK Null, Smegma, Bastard Noise, Amps For Christ, Ovo, Mechanosphere, Moe! Staiano, and the seven guests gathered for this show in Portland.

Power Circus, a chamber-noise and performance ensemble led by Lana Guerra; Nequaquam Vacuum, a free conflaggaration of classical instruments and scrap steel; Soup Purse, an analog electronic channeling of radio waves and refined dischord; Exquisite Corps, prodigal son of death-trance; Cult of Zir, cybernetic vocal ritualist; and DJ Try My Cabbage, cut-up queen of obscure samples and devastating loops.

Cute as a Chinese baby, Sunday at The Fez.
