Sometimes introspection isn't a bad thing....
Greetings, all. A quick thought:
I'm not a total failure.
I came to this conclusion a week or so ago, and only bothered to put it here today.
I currently have financial independance, as in, I could move out of my 'rents house if i wanted to. The reason why i'm staying is so i don't have to pay rent, utilities, and the like, and bank money like a miser.
Also, I have a college degree, which is definatly at least a way to open doors.
Of course, other aspects of my life aren't as rosey; D&D, well, we haven't really played in over a month 'cause 2 of the 4 players keep skipping out, and my love life is as pathetic as it's always been.
I'm not complaining about my job too much. Yet. I think eventually, it'll eat at me and i'll hate it, but hopefully i'll start hating it when i'm close to leaving it, like, oh, say, a week before i leave it. It does take up way too much time, though.
Of course, there are a pair of people that i miss. I know, Carina, your advice is to let them both go. *shrug*. On the other hand, my parents are gone for the week.
