We begin with the simple expansion of bookshelf space.
Next we take on a bigger task: the closet. The fact that tape will not stick to brick makes this especially difficult.
First, the wide view:
Let's take a closer look.
Upper Shelf.
Notice the hooks carved into the cardboard, providing structural support to hold everything from sandals to dress shoes.
(That's about all it can handle.)
Lower Shelf.
This shelf is supported entirely by its own weight wedging it's "wings" into the brick/support beam. It's taped for backup, but the tape is essentially worthless. I was so sure this was going to fall, but it's lasted for hours.
So much for probability class.
And finally:
Lighting
That stocking-stuffer headlamp I thought I'd never use? Now convenient lighting for my new closet.
Oh yeah.
