So game theory, based on what little I know, roughly addresses formalizing systems that model circumstances in our life. I wondered whether you could define philosophical ethics or notions such as the good or happiness in such terms if you could assign them rigorous definitions. It seems like this would introduce a lot of error when applying to the real world, if you just stated an axiom, but I suppose it would be true within the context of the model...
A quick google tells me that this guy wrote a document "GAME THEORY AND THE VIRTUES: THE NEW AND IMPROVED NARROWLY COMPLIANT DISPOSITION" seems to agree that something like this can be done.
It would be cool - Too bad we apparently are so irrational.
