I'm clearing out a LOT of batches of icons that have been sitting around for ages. These are from the pseudo-Jane Eyre movie, Firelight. I fell in love with this movie the first time I saw it. It's hard to come by. Hope you enjoy.

While I did not care for this movie, it's hard to come by people who know of it. I'm guessing if you've heard of this you've heard of "The Governess" starring Minnie Driver, Tom Wilkinson and Johnathan Rhys Meyers (way, way before he was Henry VIII). I LOVE "The Governess."

Lol. I'm totally the opposite! I liked this movie and really disliked The Governess. Honestly, just Tom Wilkinson being naked was enough to creep me out and kill the whole movie for me.

I'm a Jane Eyre kind of girl though. Any love story with a big age difference and a handsome man falling in love with the help (Jane Eyre, this movie, The Nanny :), I love 'em.

Aww...I enjoyed Tom Wilkinson naked! Though every time I see him in more recent movies I can't help me wonder when did he get so fat.

I'm also a Jane Eyre girl...though I'm also a Lolita girl. I'm all about May/December and Mentor-Lover romance.

Me too. This is why I love Tamora Pierce's Daine & Numair so much - for me, they are the ultimate May/December AND Mentor-Lover relationship. :)

Lovely icons. I missed the beginning of the film the first time I came across it on TV, and for a few minutes I thought it was a version of Jane Eyre.
