Abilities
Basic Attacks
Jin Kisaragi is a pretty adept at swordsmanship. When he is partnered with a sword, dozens of enemies are guaranteed to fall down unceremoniously against him, especially if the said sword is Mucro Algescro: Yukianesa, his beloved katana (which drives his mind insane), since it grants him the ability to use Frostbite.
5A: A backhand slap attack.
5B: Two hit kicks attack, extremely fast startup and second hit has slight vacuum effect.
5C: Quick horizontal slash.
2A: Crouching behind-the-back poke with his scabbard.
2B: Crouching hand swipe.
2C: Vertical slash.
j.A: Jumping hit with hilt of the sword.
j.B: Spinning sleeve attack.
j.C: Extremely long-ranged horizontal slash.
3C: Jin sweep the enemy with both of his feet.
6A: Overhead hit with the hilt of his sword.
6B: A hop kick headed for enemies' gut, except if his enemy is far too short.
6C: Powerful upward swipe of his sword, has pretty long range.
Drive Attacks
Wielding the Nox Nyctores, Yukianesa, Jin owns the Drive ability Reitou/Frostbite, in which he controls the element of ice, wielding it with such efficiency that he is able to shape the ice he creates into different forms such as a series of blades and is able to propel himself on one.
5D: Jin stretched his hand in front of him, freezing his opponent solid as a gigantic ice wolf's head appear.
2D: Jin crouch down and stabbed the floor, summoning an icy tombstone somewhere in his front with a fixed distance.
6D: A tall, big ice wall was summoned by Jin's view, useful for blocking an incoming attacks
j.D: Jin jumps, and a snow flake aura was created to surround him, freezing his nearby enemies.
Special Attacks
Jin specializes in zoning with his projectiles, and shining pressure options. Though unlike Ragna, he's not exactly considered rushdown but sports powerful combos thanks to his invalid freeze options. Jin also sports good-to-excellent pokes, and is the only character to have EX special moves, so he relies on having a lot of heat to benefit from their additional properties(extra damage, extra invinciblity, etc.)
236A/B/C: Hishouken/Ice Blade, Jin fires an ice sword forward. Usable in the air.
236D: Hishougeki/Flying Ice Strike, A stronger variety of Hishouken, it hits three times and freezes his enemy instead of one single hit. When used in the air, three ice blade appears instead of one.
623A/B: Fubuki/Blizzard, Jin throws out a turning battoujustu quickdraw angled 45 degrees upward.
623C: Rehhyou/Violent Ice, A stationary vertically-aimed quickdraw slash that launches his enemy away. Delay-able.
623D: Hirensou/Dual Ice Strike, Jin draws his sword in a circular flash which freezes, then swipes his opponent to shatter the ice and send them flying.
214A/B/C: Musou Senshouzan/Crystal Strike, Jin rides on a icicle, then leaps off to slash his opponent. Usable in the air. Jin's most famous moves, and commonly dubbed with 'Ice car'
214D: Musou Tosshougeki/Freezing Crystal Strike, stronger version of Musou Senshouzan. Jin do an outward slash to blast his enemy away instead.
CCCC / Mash C: Sekkajin/Snow Flower Storm, Jin wildly slashes with his scabbard and sword in several directions. Essential tool in combos.
Distortion Drives
Jin's lethal move. He will not use this daily, not until the battle got into big heat.
632146C: Touga Hyoujin/Ice Fang, Jin slashes out a giant ice wave shaped like a crescent at a high speed. Staggers opponent on hit, then they fall to the ground if they don't tech.
632146D: Hiyoku Getsumei/Moonsong, Jin forms an arrow of ice and shoots it upward at a 35 degree angle. Suspends opponent in hitstun in midair.
236236D: Kokuujin: Yukikaze/ Empty Air Formation: Winter's Riposte, Jin blocks an attack, then quickdraws through the opponent to freeze them and shatters the ice by recapping his blade. Acts as a counter(reversal) and fatal counter.
Astral Heat
Finishing Strike of Jin. Whenever he's using this moves... If not failed, it's a guaranteed lose, or even death for you.
Hold 2, then 8D: Rengoku Hyouya/Arctic Dungeon, Utilizing the power of his manipulation over ice using Yukianesa/Snow Woman, Jin concentrates all his power into his sword and stabs it into the ground, causing a cage of ice to entrap the opponent. After about 5 seconds of freezing his opponent, Jin then sheathes his sword, causing the ice cage to shatter, killing the opponent on contact.
