Having a relaxing sort of weekend so far -- Ms Black turned out to be quite entertaining company, thank you -- except for this morning, when I discovered a kitten trying to sleep on my face. Does anyone want to claim this thing? Cho, did you get a kitten from Neville, or is it someone else from Ravenclaw ...? Anyway, I wouldn't want it to knock over anything it shouldn't, so she's here with me in the common room until someone claims her. It seems that the Ravenclaws are quite distracted enough already these days without animals running around. (Jediah, you seem terribly absorbed in reading your journal as of late -- what's the matter, mate, the NEWTs driven you 'round the bend? I'd be happy to suggest less painful reading material...)
Oh, and for those that haven't read the notices, it is a Very Bad Idea to attempt food fights in the hallways, especially with magicked food items. Just thought I'd mention.
