Parfum du jour: The Purple Dress

From Ayala Moriel Parfums: www.ayalamoriel.com

A salute to Alexander Argov famous song, The Purple Dress is just as romantic in a chromatic, nocturnal, off-beat way. Champaca flowers from India are the main theme of this spicy, floral tea-like composition, supported only by hints of white magnolia and star anise, and a foundation of black tea and smoky woods.

Notes:
Agarwood (Oud), Black Tea Absolute, Broom (Genet) Champaca, Guiacwood, Henna leaf Honey Absolute , Nutmeg, Orange Juice Essence Sandalwood, Star Anise, Tea Rose, White Magnolia,

My review:

I LOVE IT. I knew I would. And I wasn't disappointed. Not one bit. I was, instead, enchanted. This is my kind of sent. At first the Anise was on top giving a sweet and candy-like aroma. But that quickly mellowed and the full scent came through, exotic, spicy, woodsy, smoky, sexy - just YUM. I want it, I want it BAD. But I'm not sure if I like Palas Atena another chance, because I really loved that too... I also have loved Moon Breath, and Sutul. I think I may have to buy some samples very soon to have a sort of final test.

My rating:
OOH OOOOOOOOH OOOOOOOOOOOH!
