Brace yourself I'm going theological (it's all Fritter's fault)
Ok now regarding Divinity and evil.
Creation. Nifty thing that. Ex Nihilo and all. The idea connotates God creating something or other apart from herself. Ok that means that God isn't "in" everything rather everything is "of" God. Bu wait you say what of evil? God does not make evil right? Right.
Only critters with free will can be evil ie sentient critters. Why? Because they can choose to act or not act like God. Now I do not believe in a "nature" to man. I do believe in a nature to God and I find that nature in part knowable; as far as I live in a manner befitting that nature I am being good and if I don't well that's evil.
Evil then is not an action or a thing so much as it is a lack of action or a lack of thing. It's a hole that we can create as we have choice.
