(no subject)
warning: i'm sleepy because i took maxidone with has the same stuff as vicodin.
i got my teeth all pulled out successfully about a week and a half ago (2 wks on friday), and i've had no migraines, not even one, since then, which is totally awesome!!!!! i did end up getting a bit of an infection, but my teeth were black inside, so that's not a real shocker there. they put me on clindamycin, which seems to be a really strong antibiotic, with a risk of death other than allergic reaction; but i finished that yesterday, so, no worries!!!! now, on friday, i get to get the sutures out (grrr, i hate the ones that don't dissolve), and i think they probably need out already, but, eh, they're annoying, yet not causing screaming agony, so i can wait on that. there're also some tooth fragments in my gums that'll have to be taken out (they hurt too much for me to mess with, and i doubt i can get them out when i've got dentures in all the time anyhow, or at least the majority of the time), and dentists probably have some nifty little tweezers or something to do that with. i have NORMAL teeth!!!!! well, okay, so, technically, i have no real teeth, i only have dentures, but they're less bleughy than my 'real' teeth were, and they don't make me sick, so i'm happy!!!!! and kinda sleepy-tired because i should be getting to bed. i hate narcotic painkillers. my mouth going septic meant i ended up needing to be on them longer, eulch. septic mouth = massive pain. but, it's getting better. i can bump it slightly now without screaming, cursing in jibberish, and then having to lie down and cry because of the pain (which is pretty much what tipped off the dentist doc about an infection). i will be really glad when this is all healed up.
also, i can now smile without cold air hurting my teeth!!!!!! basically, this means i can smile....
