i got chewed out for dying my own hair (sorry, needed headache-destroying factor immediately) by my younger sister. she never listened when i told her she was destroying her hair (so some would assume the next line would be 'so why should i listen to her'), but she's been training to do salon-esque stuff, so, if i don't have to GO to her school place (because i seem to get sick every time i go in there, i can handle dye-scents, but not the smells of perms [auto-headache]), then, hey, cool, she can do it for all i care. although she didnt' seem to believe that dying your hair could help a headache (avoid the stenchiness of hydrience brand, most of the others seem tolerable), even after i told her it alters the temperature of the scalp to a beneficial degree. she gave me the same look that most normal physicians tend to when i tell them that chicken soup is most likely a VERY mild vaccine, or if not that, then provides the things the immune system needs in other ways to fight off viruses (and yes, there are many crossover viruses between chickens and humans, but chickens don't usually SNEEZE like humans), aminoacids or whatever. i give a logical hypothesis, but i'm just some weird patient that can outwit nurses in terminology, and therefore, should not be acknowledged.........
ooo!!!!!!! i watched a movie in hungarian today, called 'KONTROLL'; it was actually pretty good, although i think the translations of the curses were overly vague (at least if you base them on what i'm familiar with of turkish, which is nearby[turkey is near hungary]); ah, well...
i was talking to the kiddos at my mom's daycare today, again. the baby who speaks (use loosely, it's babytalk) was there, and telling me that he didnt' feel good. i don't know how to write down this phonetically, but i knew he didnt' feel good; and he also wanted to cheer me up because i was tired and didn't feel good and he knew that. why do babies like my voice? eh, i guess i ask them how they are when they start vocalizing; i automatically encourage any speech patterns in any child and baby-talk is a speech pattern, regardless of language. and YAY!!!! the one kid my mom watches who only speaks swahili has started attempting some english after hearing how STUPID my swahili sounds!!!!!!!! (i was never taught swahili, be amazed i could even attempt to copycat a kid in that dialect!!!!!!!) i repeated what he said in his language and used gestures i'd seen on signing time (which mi madre has them watching) to more or less ask questions. now, i KNOW my swahili is BAD, i'm always laughed at. but then, the kid doesn't feel as dumb, you know? besides, my first language was NOT english, and at least on that level, we have a common understanding of frustration....
