first day of school... and I've already lost my chemistry textbook.

someone help me, please! It's not even possible to lose something on the first day of school... but I have done the impossible.
I've never lost a textbook before! It's not even funny. There was NO WAY on Earth I could have lost it... It would have made a loud thump if I'd dropped it, or if I forgot it, it'd be at home... and I've rummaged through my lockers at LEAST three times. I feel like whacking myself with my desk lamp! I feel so stupid and- and it's just not possible!
*sigh*
(I suck, I don't really post on LJ anymore haha... but I lurk around and peek at stuff... so yah.)
