.....it's like i've seen this storyline before yet not watched this specific drama. age-gap. female older than the guy by a decade more or less. career over love, the reason why she's still not married past 30.
i am quite sure i've never seen the actors in this show save for Ban Seok (Partner) and Kim Bum (errr... was it in Boys Over Flowers or something??)
BUT I HAVE WATCHED A DRAMA WITH A SIMILAR, TOO SIMILAR FOR A PLOT!!!!!
WHY??????
Reactions towards the drama
1) I am so not envious of korean wives
2) Dowry?? what age are they in?
3) Well, 10 years seems a bit too much really hehe. maybe 4 or 5 years would be okay, though

5) I'm somehow getting why living in together at first may be better than going straight, plunging into marriage
6) Dating is really not the same as marriage. You can;t really fully know a person you're not living with. hmmm but it doesn't also mean that you will also get to really know the person you're with. Of course if you're not honest with each other, refuses to open up to each other, it's still the same as being strangers.
7) Ban Seok's sister makes me want to punch her
8) She's marrying the man not his family okay?
9) Korean mother -in-laws are horrible, spiteful. i guess it's true in real life.
10) Mothers are basically slaves of their mother in laws. a dreadful cycle. So when they get a daughter-in-law all her frustrations, anger she has accumulated in her life are directed at the new slave: the daughter in law. poor girls.
11) I don't want to marry a japanese or korean man. a) they're too workaholic (hello? family time??) then goes drinking with colleagues as bonding time. workers spend more time with each other than with their spouses/families. b) When they're from traditional families. uurghh make sure you know what kind of people you're marrying into.
12) I do believe dramas depicts real happenings in a society so yeah i believe korean women, in general, are pitiful.
13) You want to marry just to escape the single status but when you achieve that goal you have to be sumbissive to your husband's family FOREVER. eeewww.

15) She is ambitious. but did she need to go overseas?
16) Shin Young's face is weird. or was that make-up? she sometimes looks young when her bangs are down. She looks really old without make-up and when her bangs are nowhere. eyebags, so deep or was that make-up too?
17) Kim Bum ...still debating where he can act or not. He's like those guys from idol groups who suddenly turn "actors". mannequin like duh duh duh. but he sometimes is cute. but yeah talent over cuteness pls.
18) Poor Da Jung. Poor, poor Da Jung. cases like this it's better to live 10hours away from the in-laws
