halo halo - 1n2d brilliant legacy
looks like i'll be watching brilliant legacy too..the funny parts anyway. i've already watched the last 2 episodes and i can't stand the crying parts = moon chae won parts. it's not really because of her acting. i just generally cannot stand reaaally drama dramas.
i thought brilliant legacy was 2007 but it seems it's 2009. meaning 1n2d really made seung gi popular..or was it MORE popular?
he was so awkward in x-man and golden bell (i think) but i'm happy he became more natural through 1n2d. it's a bit painful trying to dig out old clips of him. he was 17 and they're trying to make him come up with flirting lines on TV??!!! i, myself would have a migraine from it.
speaking of 1n/2d. they said lee sugeun was always in delicate lines and had problems bringing out his comedic side. i think it's because of the former casts in 1n2d, the ones who exited and made way for kim c, seung gi mong etc to enter. i only saw clips of them but they seem to act the antagonists towards sugeun. and sugeun can't seem to see a break from it. i'm happy that the cast from episode 25 onwards brought out, what i think, is the best in him. the difference in him between in the clips and later episodes are so big that you won't believe it's the same person!
at the same time..jong min!!! he seemed kind of okay in episode 27-30. awkward, a few jabs here and there, (nervous?) laughing. when he came back..episode 130-ish? became more awkward, more nervous laughing, fewER jabs. yes awkward. but he still contributes to the show so i can't believe koreans are that hateful to send him messages to leave the show. he continued to look like the bullied victim, perhaps much like how it was with sugeun in his episode 25 and older eps.
example. episode 202 the one where they had karaoke/videoke game against the staff.
they're still promoting seung gi as a singer even though he's already big. sugeun was offering jong min but hoding just brushed them off. SAD! taewoong maybe i can understand they were trying to help him bring out his variety side but i still can't help but feel i wanted to watch sugeun and jongmin or sugeun and taewoong. sugeun has a great voice, obvious from past episodes. ahh soccer combo. i would love it had sugeun and seung gi had that duet. but alas they chose taewoong. hahha can't understand how they managed to get 100 was it or 99? taewoong was off. btw daeju has got a loooovely voice!!! he sang before but this time was longer. song was good too :)
