[It's easy to see that Lelouch is sitting on the same cold stone steps of the temple that everybody found themselves on upon waking up for the first time in Demeleier. Slender fingers lightly touch the crown, as if this was the first time it had ever been on his head, hoping that he had just fallen asleep at his desk.]
Back again? [A beat] I can't say that I'm particularly thrilled to be back, especially after having had a brief taste of my own home - four hours is not nearly enough time to take care of business before being brought back to Demeleier. I'm fairly sure I left some paperwork unfinished.
[Lelouch pauses for a moment, eyebrow slightly raised. Despite the fact that he's a bit confused, his face doesn't show it.]
I find it a bit strange, however, that nearly forty new residents appeared within a matter of hours. If anybody can explain this sudden surge in population, I would gladly appreciate it.
