"I killed the man that killed you, do you know that? But it didn't bring you back."

Oh, Londo. I watched "The Day of the Dead" (Babylon 5, 5x08) earlier today, and that quote just stuck in my head. I'll post thoughts about Deathly Hallows later on, maybe tomorrow or the next day, but for now it's Babylon 5 and knitting. It's been a while since I've watched B5, since the spring of 2005, actually. I watched all five seasons in one fell swoop during Normandy Scholars.

Anyway, knitting! I finished the mitten-top for one of my gloves (the left one), and I am about halfway done with the right-hand mitten-top. I'll most likely be done with it tonight, and I'll try to post a photo.

Let's see, what else? We went to a sneak preview of No Reservations last night, and it was a very cute movie, starring stunningly beautiful people. And that little girl from Little Miss Sunshine is so incredibly adorable. Now I want to see Little Miss Sunshine again.

We're going to get more rain today. Yesterday was the first day in a long while that we went a day without rain! The thunder has already started. While I love the rain, it means that it'll cost us another day or two before more paint can go on the house.

Speaking of the house, I've been researching cabinet hardware, and man, it can get expensive! But oh, the pretty. Mom counted up all of the cabinets in the house, and we have a total of 38 cabinets and 26 drawers. That means we potentially need 64 knobs/handles. At three dollars each, that's almost $200, and most of what we saw at Lowe's was well over three dollars. Anyway, the fun of house-building.

Off to go grab one of the kittens and curl up on this soon-to-be-rainy afternoon.
