Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
I think the difference this year made is that even though I wrote about the same amount as I usually do, I produced way more completed fics than I would have usually

What's your own favorite story of the year?
I think when it comes down to it, the one I'm most proud of would always be the HTGRQ series evEN THO its not complete. I filled that universe to the brim in my head and swore to myself I'm not abandoning it. I just got so attached. You'd think I'd choose a krishan fic but mmm. HTGRQ. baekyeol babes. /wipes tear
Did you take any writing risks this year?
A heck ton. things like getting over this obsessive need for accuracy and BSing a lot of things, and also style and perspective experiments, plus many other things. biggest risk taken is writing nonstop, flushing every word out even if it was crap and mass editing later (and miraculously finishing at 17k. \o/ go me)
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year?
write at least one story over 20k words dsfsdfsdfsdgfafd (also finish htgrq orz)

Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
I KNOW. THIS ONE. I HAD LIKE 1 PERSON GET IT. WRITING ABOUT CROWS IS HARD.
jk though. I think some of the later ones (heart in my mouth & dearest friend) but i do think i didn't quite deliver fully what i saw in my own head. plus as the year went on and as i infused myself into krishan more i just lost track of what is canon and what is me /bitter laugh
like i think my stories near the end of the year started to get really unorthodox in a weird way?? like they dont feel like fics written for these people?? feels more like people written for fics idk how to put it
Most fun story to write:
falling forwards for sure because fuck reality lmAO. that and conches. i made up everything with no pressure. it was gr8.
Story with the single sexiest moment:
multiple choice because are you kidding? they fuck in the living room in the middle of a movie with the whole rest of exo watching

not really shifted, but there were a few stages where writing some of them really solidified my perception of characters. 1st ofc levee, which is me gathering up all my loose krishan thoughts for the first time, then panini fic helped me round up WHY i ship them so much, CONCHES THOUGH made me realize how versatile luhan is. that was when i switched bias OTL. the two aus afterwards made me realize just how far i can take the kris/luhan pairing (and its only gonna get worse trust me)
Hardest story to write:
definitely HTGRQ because it's the tightest one imo, and also longfics involve pacing which i hATE
Biggest disappointment:
hmmmmmmmmmmm if i had to pick one dearest friend probably. it just didnt come out like i wanted it to.
Biggest surprise:
THE FACT THAT I JUST BECAME SINGLEMINDEDLY A KRISHAN WRITING MACHINE. LIKE I KNEW AS SOON AS I STARTED I COULDNT STOP BUT I DIDNT KNOW IT'D BE THIS BAD. but also the /biggest/ surprise is meeting so many friends who saw krishan the way I did. I honestly never expected to synchronize with anyone on this and the fact that so many people came to voice their concordance is just incredible. ;-; I love you guys.

It reminds him of two things at once, the memories a few years apart. With his eyes open, Chanyeol’s dark silhouette against the vermillion backdrop, he sees the scene in the movie where Chanyeol runs after Krystal in her wedding dress. With his eyes closed, he sees through the camera’s lens, sees the first time they’d attempted a homemade MV. The band is all there, and there’s the drum set they spent two hours carrying onto the sand and Chanyeol behind it, waving his drumsticks like he’s possessed, trying to conduct a symphony with the tidal waves.
Nature heals, it really does. Against the hollow expanse of the ocean Baekhyun feels his universe has shrunken impossibly small, boxing around this strip of the beach, around the two of them.
