OMFG.
Breakfast on Pluto. As foster kid Patrick "Kitten" Brady (Cillian Murphy) grows up, he leaves behind his small-town life in Ireland for London, where he's reborn as a transvestite cabaret singer in the 1960s and 70s.

I spent some of my day at Border's reading manga and a couple of Batman graphic novels. The most interesting of which was Batman: Harvest Breed, written and illustrated by George Pratt. (who's also done some work on The Sandman. The art was absolutely gorgeous. The story was pretty interesting too. I mean, there were demons, and crucifixes. But the art totally overshadowed that. Geez. I wish I could find more scans.
And now I'm kind of salivating over THIS. *wants* [And somewhere I think I read Batman engages in self-mutilation!]
I want to make a graphic novel. Seriously. That or make sandcastles for a living.
The weird earness has not gone away. I'm actually beginning to get really concerned. Just, go away!!
