Twilight Zone Convention!

JOSEPH MESSERLI will also participate in the panel discussion and be present both days of the Convention. While working at the UPA animation studio in Burbank in the late 50s, he created The Twilight Zone logo for the series first season and the moving galaxy of stars shown at the beginning and, panning upwards, at the end of each episode. This was before the age of computers! He later illustrated numerous Little Golden Books and many other childrens books and coloring books including Elmo and Zoes Alphabet, Tweety and Sylvester, Bugs Bunny Rides Again, Tom and Jerrys Big Move, Porky Pig Counting Book, and Pink Panther: The Prince & The Panther. He also did the inking for the rare, short-lived Marvel-Disney comic book series, The Disney Afternoon.”
