[ That particular lie comes easily, and without delay. He raises it to the camera, letting the gleam of the SEES logo along the side be shown.

[ A small, almost inaudible sigh of relief. The thought of it being an actual gun made her a little nervous.. ]

What are you going to use it for?

Nothing.

[ His tone is clipped, just a little. Nothing like his favourite ghost buddy to put a very sore spot on the network for all to see! He's about to leave it at that, but...well. Orihime's been nothing but nice to him. So he pulls it in, pushes it down, and returns to his calm, relaxed demeanor. ]

[ Entirely last year, actually- but he does so like being vauge. Idly, he starts spinning the gun around on one finger, in such a manner that really suggests he spent a lot of time doing just that. ]

How did you get something from home for Christmas?

[ That gun's still making her a little nervous... But come on, Orihime, it's just a prop. Just a prop. ]

[ A prop he casually twirls a couple more times before pulling the trigger, just for effect-- nothing comes out but a little click of the hammer moving back. couldn't fire a bullet even if it was loaded.

[ The click sounds and- well, it sounds, and nothing happens after that. It's not that she doesn't trust him, she doesn't trust this place, because what would have happened if it was more than just a prop and he wouldn't even know--

He tucks it away, and she reminds herself to stop being so paranoid. It's Christmas, after all, right...? ]

[ He'd have preferred his laptop, but hey! Can't have it all. This one's just a lot more symbolic, Minato casting another wary glance back-- just to make sure it's there. ]

You didn't get anything, Orihime?

[ Maybe next year, Minato! Orihime grabs her chin thoughtfully, glancing over at the unwrapped presents behind her. ]

Well... I haven't finished looking through my presents, so maybe I did! Do you mind if I have a few seconds to take a look, Minato-kun?

[ The feed clicks off for two to three minutes. When it switches back on, Orihime looks more than eager to share the news with Minato. ]
