It's A Bit Like French
You know those days that you throw random French words into your sentences and say things in French without even realising it, even though you don't speak the language and some French person somewhere in the world is crying at how much you are butchering their language? Yeah, I had one of those days today. So let's start this post off with saying "Salut!"
It is time for a personal post because this week has been so crazy I feel like I haven't been online hardly at all. Update-wise is nothing too big, other than my new exhibit that I was in charge of is now finished and open to the public at the museum! Not to sound highly egotistical but it is my favourite exhibit I have ever done ... but this being my second exhibit that might not mean much. We have the Rideau Carvers Club in and it's all about the history of carvers in the area (particularly decoys because we have the highest capita of world renown decoy carvers than anywhere else in the world). We have more school groups coming, and summer students starting, and grants we're applying for, and press to deal with, and we're starting our garden once again (the two vegetable ones and the nice pretty one that people get married in).
In more exciting news, my sister just booked her flight to London! So we will be meeting in the city, and Liz (my cousin who is also joining us on this trip) will already be there one week ahead of us. We've got where we are staying booked and Linda & Ivan (our cousins) have invited us for dinner at their place on Sunday. And just think .... in seven weeks I will see COLIN MORGAN LIVE!!!!!! (I have also been thinking that it might be cool to set-up a little LJ meet-up before the play???? Which, if people are interested, I would make a separate post about later).
And finally, in fandom news, paperlegends is going slowly but surely. I was officially category 1, and everything was submitted. :D So we will see how it goes, I always love getting paired up with artists, it's always so exciting!
Also, expect some pimpage to be occurring tomorrow, us mods at merlin_forever are putting together a Series 1 Comment Fest - and I have already thought of a gazillion prompts. And I swear only half of them are shameless Series One Merlin/Arthur porn ... okay maybe two-thirds ...
