... So, I happened to glance at the calendar today and it occurred to me that November 5th is coming up towards us alarmingly quickly this year. And - hang it all, I hate this business of having to ask for help, but there's very little I can do about the situation on my own especially without a world-hop, and there has to be something we can do about what's supposed to happen to the man, I refuse to let there be a repeat of what happened last time. ... Besides all of that, I have a promise to keep to someone.
