[OOC: Shadowplot planning bandwagon :>]

Hullo DDD! Jumping on the bandwagon here with a reference post for the Shadow!plot. (Yes, I know it's ages away. Do not fight my logic.) Herein this post you will find my notes/sketches/ramblings about Ten, Lyle and England's shadows, just because I can. Still need to come up with personas for them though, hurr. And I have to offer my eternal gratitude to Jordan for helping me work out ideas for the shadows' true forms. ♥

Ten
Arcana: The Tower
Issues: the fact that he inevitably leads everyone into danger/gets them hurt, the fact that he runs from everything so he doesn’t have to face the consequences. Running from the death of loved ones and all his negative feelings - "I'm always alright". Not as good a person as he tries to present himself as being, not as altruistic as he attempts to be - actually just enjoys the buzz of adventure? LOL GALLIFREY. “Killing infects you.” “The man that never looks back because he dare not out of shame.” Not to mention that he's crazy lonely like whoa, but he's getting better with that one.

Shadow: Himself, only in black - black suit, with Gallifreyan robes added to the ensemble.

True Form: Half-clockwork (to represent the fact that he's a Time Lord), half flesh. His rabbit mask (which I totally stole from Bioshock, but shhh) represents that he's like the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland - he leads people down into a crazy world that changes them completely. The giant watch he's carrying represents both these themes and the fact that time ticks ever onwards, you can't look back, you can't change anything. The Seal of Rassilon in the centre of his chest is actually another clock that would open up in the middle of the boss battle to reveal a black hole that deals MASSIVE DAMAGE - represents how he draws people in and then destroys them.

Lyle
Arcana: The Lovers
Issues: self-identity/self-esteem, never being as good as Neil, never being recognized as himself/his own person. Jealousy of Neil - feels good when someone says he’s the better twin? He’s ashamed of this. Needs to be attached to people even though he tries to affect detatchment.

Shadow: Himself, dressed in Neil's clothes, and with the colours reversed.

True Form: A faceless puppet on strings, still dressed in Neil's reversed-colour clothes. Represents all of the above, really, nothing complicated here. :'D

England
Arcana: The Chariot
Issues: the fact that he’s really not as stoic and immovable/uncaring as he likes to present himself as being, and actually gets deeply attatched/devoted to people; the fact that he’s scared of being hurt/abandoned by others and so pushes them away himself as a means to avoid this; also he has a fabulous tendency to screw up his relationships, A++ there England; the way he can be clingy in his own special way because of his abandonment complex.

Shadow: A slightly younger and incredibly moe version of himself (medieval period - English archers ftw!). When I say moe, I mean so moe that you will melt into a puddle on the floor from the sheer moeness of it.

True Form: An empty, impenetrable suit of armour riding an equally empty suit-of-armour-unicorn-thing. GIANT SHIELD is involved. Also Excalibur-worthy sword, hurrr. :>

It should probably be a little more scary and sinister than it is, but my style does not do scary. 8Db
