EVENTS OF THE DAY:
my phone broke yesterday so i went to the store and they gave me a new one.
today the NEW ONE broke and i take it back and they say they cant help me. now i have to try and go through the insurance process which will cost me 50 dollars not to mention more stress than a person could possibly need. AND i wont have a phone for a week or two while they ship it to me. and THATS all if i can ever actually get a hold of the insurance division. ive been calling for an hour and gotten a busy signal everytime.
PHILOSOPHICAL MUSINGS (INSPIRED BY TODAY'S EVENTS):
i dont care what you say- existentialists have it easy. if i could believe that all of this was just meaningless random events it wouldnt matter how i reacted to it. or if i reacted to it at all. because how can reacting to something random and meaningless have any meaning? believing that God has placed this event at this point in my life with a purpose requires much more of me- to rise to the occasion, to stretch and grow as an individual. to trust that He has also placed in me the ability to transcend the obstacle.
how blessed i am to know that the same God who loves me exactly as i am- gives me chances everyday to become better.
