Friday had gone well, and really that should have been his first clue. Mohinder had found sketches of Isaac Mendez' that looked like preliminary work of his last according to S2 painting series. He'd had also found a carrycase he hadn't recognised labeled 'MY FATHER'S RESEARCH', which had stayed locked regardless of how hard he'd tried to break it open. Bennet had known of a psychometric - Maria - only a few hours away. She'd been able to tell Mohinder - despite looking at him a bit oddly - a little more about the painting sequence.
Mohinder had barely picked up the painting case from the luggage carousel and was metres away from a successful escape when he was accosted by a tired-looking woman in a blue-green uniform. "Dr Suresh?" and she pushed what she carried into his arms. Mohinder glimpsed a matching set of briefcases - FATHER ISSUES (CHANDRA) and FATHER ISSUES (MOLLY) and a faded shoulder-bag covered in names - DALE, ZANE, PETER - were the only ones he could make out before he dropped them.
"Dr Suresh, you've exceeded your weight limit," the woman frowned at her clipboard, "mid- flight?" Looking dubious she named a figure.
"But this is all I checked in with," Mohinder gestured to the art case and ignored the grey backpack with a tag proclaiming POWER ENVY. He might have to carry his issues around, if he couldn't ignore and deny them like rational, repressing people, but he still protested against being fined for them. "These can't possibly be mine."
This could be a long and probably futile argument.
