Hi guys, thanks for all your comments on my last post. I think I'm feeling a lot better about things now that I've had time to get my head around it all properly and because my temperature eventually came down and I started eating again, things are definately more shiny than they were last week.
I also have this really pathetic crush on a guy that's in two of my classes and I forgot what it felt to have one of those. Seriously. It's like... you know when just talking to someone, no matter what's been said or how much has been said, is always the highlight of your day? And, sometimes, they're the only reason you're going to those lessons? And like, everything they do is The Best Thing Ever to you? *sighs* When did I become such a girl?
Right now though, I just want to be completely shallow and talk about Gossip Girl... in bullet points.
- DAN AND SERENA. You kids aren't boring, I don't care what fandom says, I love you. Get back together soon, plz?
- I actually sort of liked Chuck and Blair this week! Kind of. I've always had ~mixed feelings~ about them as a ship (I prefered them when they were sort of the "anti-ship" and it wasn't destroying their characters and stunting each other's growth etc etc.) and while some parts of this week I wasn't happy with... idk... the ending where he was leaning on her and crying... I did like them. I totally saw the letter coming because of course they're never going to work in the long term (and I'm not even sure if I want them too, really) but it still made me go "ouch" a little bit.
- But, really, I just want to talk about Rufus Humphrey and Lily Bass/Van Der Woodsen. OH MY GOODNESS, YOU GUYSSSSS. They're my OTP, that's all that I can say and I LOVE THEM. Oh gosh, when they were talking under the bridge and he said he'd wait for her for however long it was going to take? And when she said that she was in love with him to her mum? And their phone call and the B&B in Cornwall? YOU GUYS. Obviously, I knew it was going to go wrong and it did but I'm not gunna lie, I totally cried when he saw her standing their at the train station and she was all smiley and he was like, "Just tell me one thing, was it a boy or a girl?" ARE THE WRITERS SERIOUS? THERE WAS A BABY? I mean, there's a little Rufus&Lily out there somewhere.. or did she have an abortion? I am SO CONFUSED and SO THROWN and really kind of heartbroken and I know I should have seen this coming from a million miles away (Oh hai thar, Josh Schwartz) but I didn't and now my soul is lying in broken pieces on the floor. RUFUS AND LILY!!!
- I can't believe I haven't mentioned this before in a post but I love that the Sicillian is in it now. But he hasn't said "inconceivable". He totally should. You know it would be awesome.
- I love that they played The National at the end (although... didn't Schwartz use the exact same song in an episode of Chuck in S1? Lolol. He does have his formulas...)
