I don't even have the time to be making this post but, urgh, YOU GUYS. WHY DO PEOPLE SUCK SO MUCH?

I think I just seriously argued with one of my best friends. I know it might sound stupid to be this upset over it but... I don't really care to be honest because I hate arguing with my friends and what makes this worse is, I don't really want to say ( Read more... )

what the hell is wrong with the world?

It's just, I don't see how this can look any better? Because he thinks that way, and I think this way. I know everyone has different opions but some things are just plain wrong (racism, sexism, homophobia...) and dammit, my veiws on this are strong and there isn't anything I said in that "argument" that I don't agree with. I'm not apologising for standing up for gay rights.

*hugs*

(sorry about rambling again, it's just really upset me, that may sound pathetic but, eh, I hate arguing with anyone, let alone my best friends)

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I was meaning that your view of the argument itself might look a little better once you've had some sleep. Not that sleeping will change your PoV, because obvs it won't!

*is very sleepy herself and possibly not making a great deal of sense*

And no apologies needed for rambling - 'tis your LJ - you ramble as much as you like!

Listen sweetheart, you are on the right side here.
You shouldn't apologize for something you believe in, NEVER EVER!
And of course not for something like that!

I know how painful it feels when you argue with friends, but maybe you can come up with some plan to just never talk with this friend about that subject again.
Then again, if you don't want to be friends with someone who has that kind of messed up point of views (because he obviously has) then you should tell him that. Or keep a distance from him.

*hugs you*

That's the hard part. I don't think I can not be friends with him (just because he means far, far too much to me and he's been there with me through a lot of shit) but I don't know if I want to be friends with someone that thinks like that. I don't know.

I know he doesn't want to argue with me (today in college, some other friends were telling me he was crying and stuff like that over it) but he shouldn't have said all the things he did (he called me "fucking babyish" at one point which doesn't seem like much but coming from him, it hurts. I'll easily forgive him for saying that but... idk *is confused*)

*hugs back*

Hm ... yeah, that's really a difficult issue, I know what you mean.
You should really think about what is important to you, that you remain friends or that you fight for what in your opinion is right - idk, it's a difficult decision.

You're not making too much of it sweetie.
I'm so sorry that you've had an argument with him and I really hope you two sort it out and stay friends. But if you can't it's understandable too.
As I said before, feel free to talk to me whenever okay? ILY ♥

sometimes i wonder where this world's heading to.

OKAY, someone might not like gay people. that's okay for them. but comparing it to executions and just, be a jerk about it is SO not a smart move. they're like everyone else and if you don't like, don't look or just ignore it.

i'm sorry, this subject is really important to me.

Right?

No, I understand totally, this issue is really important to me too. Homophobia squicks me so hard. I can't deal with people having that attitude, I just can't.

Whoooo was it?

=[

It's a load of shit that people still think shit like this, it's so unbelievably annoying, I can't even begin to vent my frustration on this topic. My RE class, NOT FUN.

Grr, I just...I don't get Homophobia, when MOST people are so against racism and crap like that, I don't see how Homophobia is fine.

ANDREW. OF ALL PEOPLE, SRSLY.

Right? I thought I'd left all this shit behind in RE lessons... APPARENTLY NOT. How do people still think like this Amee? IDGI. And that's my argument exactly. It's right on the same level as racism, you're judging someone on THE WAY THEY WERE BORN. What, you think people choose to be gay? Urgh.

WHY DO PEOPLE SUCK SO HARD?

HOMOPHOBES = UNCOOL.

I thought so...
-sighs-

He's so nice about everything else. It's just CRAZZZY. This is Biblical shit, y'know, it should have gone away with fucking stoning or something...It's just so stupid.

& that's my argument, do you think that half the people that are gay would have CHOSEN to be gay with all the shit that people say about them, all the crap that being gay comes with. Like, even people who really aren't gay, who are maybe just a bit camp get shat (lol) on, it's just complete and utter shit and how ANYONE can respect anyone who treats anyone like that is insane.
