Also, is it really wrong of me to try and persuade my parents into buying my little brother (who doesn't ever read, wtf bro?) the book Skellig just so I can read it?

It is a very entertaining book, too! I'd recommend it to anyone with kids/younger brothers. It's quite nice.

Good luck with the wanting to be a writer. It's a pain in the ass. Take it from me that I've wanted to be a writer since I was three years old -there was this phase where I wanted to be a writer and a professional footballer but, though I was quite good, it's not something a girl can make much career out of-.

Yeah, I always wanted to be a writer from being tiny but, swimming always took up way more of my time (just before the end I was swimming around four/five hours a day - yeah, I know it's not much compared to what some swim but I was only 11 at the time...).

I know it has like, a zero percent chance of happening but... yeah, I can dream, right? (I need to write more to get any better at all and that doesn't seem to want to happen right now, wtf self?)

You know what unreachable goals tend to do to us?
They tend to be so incredible obsessiv with us so that we can't give up on them and we eventually reach them xD
