1. I can't sleep again (oh joy). I swear, one day soon I'm going to sleep for more than 3 hours and it's going to be glorious.
2. So, um, I rewatched the finale again, and while I usually skip to bits that I like (so I only watch about 20% of the episode and it's all companion related bits) today I watched the Bad Wolf Bay scene. Yeah, I don't why I did that either. And in between wanting to scratch my eyes out, I found something else that annoyed me.
Rose referred to Doomsday as the "worst day of her life". Um, wtf? If being left on a beach with your mother, a father you never knew and a little brother on the way is the worst day of you life then... urgh. Another example of how Rusty didn't allow Rose to mature and chipped away at her bit by bit. Yeah sure, not a good day but I don't think that it's "worst day of your life" material. Whatever Rusty.
3. So after that I needed to rewatch something happy so, City Of Death it was. YAY FOUR (who is rather awesome even if I love Five more) and YAY ROMANA \o/ I love Romana and when The Moff brings her back (shut up, I want him to dammit) Keeley Hawes should totally play her. Just sayin'
4. If Human Nature/Family Of Blood doesn't win this year's Hugo I'm going to probably cry. Because, I'm sorry Mofft, ily and Blink but those episodes were... wow. I don't even know how to talk about them but honestly, wow. And if that didn't tell the writers to Let The Tennant Act More then I don't know what will.
5. Interveiw With The Vampire is totally owning me all over again. I'd forgotten how much I love this book. Of course, it doesn't hurt that it's vampires because I was indoctrinated with Buffy at an impressionable age but it really is awesome and so's the film (again, it doesn't hurt that it's Brad Pitt).
6. On top of writing Mickey-centric, I've also given in to the bunny that wanted to me write YTNW!Martha/Dean Winchester (Supernatural x-over). I don't know what's wrong with my brain but for the record? Martha and Dean would hot together.
