These are my theories that I have for The Oncoming Finale™. I'm actually about 95% unspoiled for what's going to happen so none of this can be considered spoiler-y. Just speculative.

1. Harriet Jones has something to do with The Master and is in league with The Daleks. There are a few things that add up to this in my mind: Harriet Jones does not ( Read more... )

I've been waiting for this!! YES!

1) Wow! I have to say, though, that it I did find it wierd that we didn't actually see her get shot by the Dalek lazer thing. But I don't think she's evil per-se. I don't think she died, though. Really quickly, some people think that the person that stole the Master's ring is the Rani.

2) Totally agree. It would be really nice to see Gallifrey or a small peak at it. I don't think I would want to see the Time War though. Have more detail on it (in the future maybe). But think if we saw the time war it would look silly.

4)How do you know?! Tell me! I need sleep!! lol! I noticed that Dalek Caan said that, and I will be hoping with you.

4b) I would be VERY VERY angry!! Ugh! Even thinking that is a possibility makes me angry. But I wouldn't put it past RTD.....

5) Same here. Jack/Martha-I ship it!! As well as Jack/Martha/Ten.

6)Couldn't have said it better. They are all special and they all are faithful. Not only to him but to the world.I don't think the Doctor puts any of them above the other (no matter what RTD wants us to believe *coughRosecough*).

7)Same here.

1) I just think that it was too shifty that we didn't see her be exterminated. Something had to be up there. I have heard the theory about The Rani and if that were true, I'd be stoked because The Rani is awesome *nod*

2) I don't know if I want to see the Time War either because I have a veiw of it in my head and if they put it on screen, I would most likely be dissapointed. (For the record, Time War!Eight/Romana/Master FTW) but I want Gallifrey back so bad.

4) Because he's fimiling the Christmas Special now and he's talked about being in all the others next year. I'm not worried at all. I was confused as hell about Dalek Caan's comment at first but that's the only way I can see that makes it fit.

4b) And the fact that some fans want this to happen makes me want to CRY. I mean, have they ever watched the show before? URGGGH.

5) Ten/Jack/Martha is probably my favourite Team TARDIS and the prettiest ever. They're my ultimate OT3 of Who.

6) They're all willing to die in battle for him so dude, if they don't get around that comment some how I'm going to scream and break something.

7) Donnnnaaaaa *clings to her* I wantz to keep her forevahhhh. With Martha. And Ross, we like Ross XD

1)totally!

2)Another agree. I don't think they would do it right. It would probably look too overdone/underdone for me.

4b) Ugh! These are (generally) the same people that wanted the Doctor to go and rip open time and space (ultimately destroying everything else) to get to Rose. UUUUGIEJAJKEtljr;tkrt;lk rtel!!! I don't even understand these people. I started watching the show because of the action/adventure and to see the Doctor bond with his companions in a friendly/companiony way. NOT to have it turn into the Notebook or what have you! The show isn't all about Rose or Ten/Rose. What EXACTLY makes these people think that the Doctor would ever leave the Tardis to go DOMESTIC?! REALLY? He would NEVER! EVER. UGHIWRjwiejr;kejrkgjre;tkljlr kj! Just makes me want to throw something. They can't tell me that Rose is the first and only person that the Doctor would ever love. All of the people that are involved in this shinanigans (the Ten/Rose fangirls, RTD, etc) need to realise that they are obviously not made for eachother. They should have their goodbyes and end it. And don't bring it back from the dead ever again. Not even once. I love Rose, but only to an extent and the writers are making that much harder to realise.

5) Definitively!! Ugh, I need some Ten/Jack/Martha fic! I thought they were awesome together (even though it was short) It remined me a little of the old days with Nine/Rose/Jack.....

6)I'll be extremely dissapointed. No matter how awesome the rest of the episode is, something like that (and the 2nd Doctor going to Rose thing) would make the episode less awesome and cheapen it for me. It already makes me angry beyond believe that it's going to happen and that people actually want their favorite character to be the most faithful companion. I LOVE Martha (as we all know) but I don't think that she is the most faithful. ALL of them are.

7)ROSS! He never died. EVER. He just got tired. It was such a long day, and he was scared. So, he took a nap. He's alive, I tell you, ALIVE!!!

4b) You know, I ship Ten/Martha like BURNING but I would never want him to rip open space and time/go domestic for her. Because that's not The Doctor. The Doctor loves them all (although I don't ship him with everyone, not quite) and none is ~more special~ than any other.

He doesn't have a ~one true love~ (I adore River Song and ship her with Ten but I still can't get around the fact that The Doctor doesn't have a ~true love~

I love S1!Rose and for some reason in S2/S3/S4 the writers seem to make me want to hate on her (which I've been trying to refrain from doing) and it makes me sad because Billie is better than that.

6) Exactly. Martha is my favourite. I'm batshit for her (as I'm sure you've probably witnessed) but I still don't want her named as ~most faithful~ URGH. If Rusty does go there I'll cry.

7) HE WAS PLAYING DEAD SO THE SONTARAN WOULDN'T KILL HIM. And when the bus got back at the end of Midnight he went and stole Jethro from his eeeevil mother and now they work at UNIT with Martha and spend their nights bitching about The Doctor and drinking martinis. CANON.

4b) I wouldn't either. But some people (*cough*fanforum*cough*) really want that. I remember there being an episode in season 2 where Ten and Rose were stuck in the future and they were talking about moving in together if they couldn't retrieve the TARDIS. I wanted to kill someone.

River Song was awesome and in a way, I can see why Moff introduced her (to show that The Doctor will have someone to look forward to and to love besides Rose) and I want the Doctor to remember her when and if the choice for him to go with Rose or whatever is brought up in the show. But it is still hard for me as well to see him having one woman to love. The only way I could see around it were if there was someone that were a Time Lady. But still, I have problems in believing in one true love.

I adore Billie and S1!Rose, but I think they did that because the writers are OBSESSED with her and the Ten/Rose relationship, so they go uncanon with the rest of the show and try to bring in what they want. Which, in my opinion, goes against the rest of the series (Old!Who). But still, I wish they would have kept the mentor/friendship/subtle thing they had going with Rose in season one instead of having her IN OUR FACES (some people like it, but I don't)

6) I would feel as though my life were falling apart if he said it was her. I would probably lose my mind. Just thinking about it makes me all bamboozled.

7)TOTALLY CANON! Jethro and Ross. Two minor characters that stole my heart! They are ALIVE and HAPPY and doing awesome things!!! Because they're AWESOME! And we WILL see them again!!

8) *sneaks in extra number* What you said at the end of 4b about that not being the Doctor. I don't think that people realise WHO the Doctor is. Not only as a character, but as a main character on the show. I think he is the awesomeness, and I think there is a VERY thin line when it comes to what the Doctor will and will not do. I think he can love, and be with someone (until they're time comes), but I don't think he's going to do go domestic or make-out or what have you. I think he'll do the things he did with Martha, which was hug, hold hands (not as a couple) loads and loads of times with mild (and sometimes not* flirting, with the occasional kiss to save the day (with hidden passion). But nothing too deep, like owning a house, settling down, doing the horizontal tango (HA HA get it?) at every opportunity, spilling long poems of love, etc. Especially with what happened to his family before Gallifrey's end. The only way I could see him doing the horizontal tango (which isn't very likely) is if he later acted like it didn't happen or something. But EVEN THEN it would be slightly wrong.

The Doctor is a bouncy, I-do-what-I-want-when-I-want, on the go kind of humanoid. He doesn't stop (unless necessary), and danger,action/adventure is his middle name.

Separating with the TARDIS or even doing what he was going to do in S1 (let her sit here) is totally out of the question for him.

9)I had the best idea ever, and I wonder if you'd like it....

8) See, in my head the The Doctor totally made out Martha. But not with Rose. Nine didn't even make out with Rose in my head and I ship them like WOAH. Nine was unstable and close to the edge just after the Time War, and Rose was perfect for that but he held her away while pulling her in at the same time. The moment at the end of PotW is the first (and only) time they ever kissed and having as that makes it more powerful I think.

Ten didn't ever kiss or make-out with Rose. I know some people see it that way... I don't *shrug* it's not even because I don't ship them, I just don't see it to be honest.

He totally sexed Martha though. What happens in 1969 stays in 1969. And I have this whole personal canon that runs the length of S3 but basically, they were in a sexual relationship from the end of tLE.

But he would never settle down and do domestic. Nine said as much in AoL. He would never leave the TARDIS, I think it would physically hurt him to be away from her for too long.

9) *is interested*

8) I do that too! Because Ten totally wants that! I think that the kiss between Nine and Rose was the best, and most heart-felt kiss. DEFINATELY better (and classier) than the Ten/Rose kiss/thing. It just felt silly and unneccesary (totally spelled that wrong!).Nine/Rose kiss=meaning, Ten/Rose kiss=fangirl vomit. Ten/Martha kiss=me fanning myself from the hotness!! The Ten/Rose kiss was more of Rose attacking Ten with her mouth. It wasn't even her, though either!

Then when they got to present day they acted like NOTHING happened (but it did, MANY times). Until he couldn't hold it any longer and they had wall-sex!! I just had to put it out there!! I have a personal canon too!! Personal canons are WAY better than canon!!

The TARDIS is what the Doctor needs (as well as a little Marfa-lovinz!). Without it, he isn't him anymore.

9) Now this is going to be the WIERDEST thing you've heard me say today. Now that I've let it linger in my head, it doesn't seem as awesome, but (deep breath) here goes:

I was thinking (for a while now) about us doing a fic. Together. I thought it would be awesome. We both share the same ideas when it comes to DW, and I already have a little idea. I've read your fics before and your an incredible writer! It would be a long story though, so I don't know how you would feel about that. I don't even know how you feel about it so far, either! lol! Just an idea. I was thinking about it as we were having this conversation, so an idea just popped into my head. *feels nervous*

9) Oh no, don't be nervous! I'm really flattered that anyone would want to write a fic with me actually seeing as I'm incredibly self-concious about my writing.

I'm currently (as of today actually) having a go at writing a Ten/Martha fic (it's really kind of emo and depressing on the whole XD) so I don't know if I'd be any good at the moment because this is turning out to be a complete BITCH to get my words around but after I (eventually) post it and you read it, you can tell me if you'd still like to do one after having read it *nod* because I'm totally interested in doing one *g*
