Mickey would be great. I have one problem with it:

If he can stay in this universe, Rose can stay too. But she's not with the Doctor. Therefore, she DIES.

I don't think they'll kill Rose. Maybe she doesn't want to go back because she's moved on and grown up and had recovered from that awful character regression that was S2. [Sorry, I'm still bitter about that -.-]
